Primarily used in the synthesis of diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) high-performance organic pigments, widely applied in automotive coatings, industrial paints, inks and plastic coloration. Also serves as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals, plastics, dyes and fragrances, as well as a GC stationary liquid and electroplating leveling agent.
